Beau BrewsterBeau Brewster is from Orem, Utah, and is a Senior in Theater Education with an emphasis in Directing.  His recent credits include Paris in Romeo & Juliet, Jack Beggles in The Hundred Dresses, James in Children of a Lesser God, and Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.  Last year, he received a directing award for his work on Parade where he fell in love with his leading lady, who is now his wife.  It is his pleasure to be performing with her in Arabian Nights.

Miki Brewster:  Miki Brewster is from Murrieta, California, and is a Senior pursuing English Teaching and Environmental Science.  Her recent credits include Willie in the world premiere of Shelter, Composer/Guitarist/Ensemble in Blood Wedding and Lucille Frank in Parade where she fell in love with her extraordinary husband!  Her dream is being fulfilled performing opposite her other half in this production of Arabian Nights.

Caitlin Cotten:  Caitlin Cotten is a senior from Oklahoma studying theatre education. She was Mother in BYU Young Company’s production of A Thousand Cranes and has continued to work as a curriculum developer for Young Company’s productions of Babe the Sheep Pig and The Merchant of Venice.

Noelle Houston:  From New York City, New York, Noelle Houston is a sophomore in pre-Acting.  Her recent credits include Sheep/Puppy/Duck in Babe, The Sheep Pig (BYU Young Company), Portia/Lynette/Waitress in Through the Tunnel, title role in Antigone, Leonore in The School for Husbands, and ensemble in The Picture of Dorian Gray.

Katie Jarvis:  Katie Jarvis is a Theater Arts Studies Major with a Geography minor.  She is from Grants Pass, Oregon, and goes home to visit her seven brothers and one sister often.  Her recent roles include Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,  Antonia(o) in The Merchant of Venice, and a supporting role as an unnamed Scottish woman in The Women of Lockerbie.  She loves to sing swing music and play tether ball.  She says that Theatre and Geography are her two loves, and she plans to incorporate them into the hybrid field of Performance Geography someday.

Elise Osorio:  Heyo!  Elise Osorio is a full-time theatre student, runner, wanna-be rock climber, half-Colombian, and forever creamy peanut butter lover.  She grew up in Texas, Kenya, Venezuela, and Belgium, and her family now lives in India.  She is the second of four kids and the only one with a full head of curly hair.  She loves her Heavenly Father, laughing, singing, music, acting, cooking, and simply BEING.  Her recent credits include Heniretta in BYU’s Jane Austen’s Persuasion, and Swing/Cast Understudy for BYU’s Babe the Sheep-Pig.

Krystle Perkins:  Krystle Perkins is a senior advertising major from Puyallup, Washington.  Advertising will make her rich, but theater is her first love.  This is her first production at BYU.  Special thanks to her husband and family who have always supported her.

Joshua Pluim:  Joshua Pluim is the oldest of 11 kids, and he loves it!  He’s graduating from BYU in April 2012, with a degree in Linguistics, and minors in Music and Hebrew.  He has sung with the BYU Men’s Chorus for 5 1/2 years; in addition to singing he enjoys spending time in the great outdoors, traveling, enjoying the company of friends, experimenting in the kitchen (something at which he excels), and playing board-games with his family.

Daniel Sappenfield:  From Centerville, Utah, Daniel Sappenfield is double majoring in pre-Acting and Graphic Design.  He recently spent the summer performing in the Nauvoo Pageant and can be seen in numerous films and television commercials.

Jacob Shamy:  Jacob Shamy is excited to be in his first performance at BYU!  Arabian Nights has earned a special place in his heart as he has studied about and connected with his personal Arabic heritage.  Some of his favorite roles performed at other theaters include The Baker from Into the Woods, Chauvelin & Elton from The Scarlet Pimpernel, Jud from Oklahoma!, and Teresh from Liken the Scripture’s Esther and the King.  He dedicates this performance to his family whom he loves very much.

Joseph Skousen:   Joseph Skousen is from Morgantown, West Virginia, and is a sophomore at Brigham Young University studying acting.  Recent credits include The Comedy of Errors (BYU), The Sound of Music (Sundance Summer Theater), and The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey (BYU/SCERA).  Joseph also teaches an acting and musical theater class as part of the SCERA Youth Theater program.

Alexander Trop:  Alexander Trop is a Sophomore in the acting program at BYU.  He has previously appeared as Farmer Hogget in Babe: The Sheep Pig, Robert in Proof, and James Vane in The Portrait of Dorian Gray among other roles.

John Valdez:  John Valdez is a senior in the Theatre Studies program at BYU.  He is 21 years old, born in Provo, and the second oldest of five siblings. Recent credits include Hairspray at HCTO and The Princess Bride and Cough/Laugh at BYU.  John’s very excited to work with this amazing cast and is grateful for the opportunity to hone his craft and share his talents.

Devin Wadsworth:  Devin Wadsworth was born and raised in Rexburg, Idaho.  His love for theatre developed in high school where he performed in most of the school productions.  After graduating, he attended Eastern Idaho Technical College (EITC) and received an Associate Degree in Automotive Technology.  He has served a full-time mission in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  His most recent roles include Froggy in The Foreigner and John Curtis Buntner in Southern Hospitality — both with the Rexburg Community Theatre.  He felt that he needed to go back to school and shortly after being accepted to BYU, he met and married his eternal companion.  He is currently a pre-Acting major.

Adam White:  Adam White is a sophomore from Ashburn, Virginia, majoring in Theatre Arts Studies with an emphasis in Dramaturgy.  His recent credits include Bassanio in The Merchant of Venice and Conrade in Much Ado About Nothing.  Adam enjoys singing in the BYU Men’s Chorus, hiking in the great outdoors and making origami pianos.
